| Cassandra houses a Hazardous Materials Bulk Absorbent Trailer. Response by special call. Cassandra's Chief is also a Line Officer on the Cambria County Hazmat Team. Cassandra has 35' portable light tower/power plant. Cassandra was the first company in the Mainline area to achieve the rank as a PA State Fire Commissionioners Office as a Participating Department. 2003 Cassandra receives competitive Federal grant to purchase a New Pumper Squad 81-2 and Engine 81-1 are both QRS Certified Squad 81-2 and Engine 81-1 both have AED's Cassandra places into service a complete " Hurst Jaws of Life Rescue System" carried on Engine 81-1. 2004 Cassandra has 17 Basic Vehicle Rescue Technicians Engine 81-1 is recongnized by the Dept. of Health as a Rescue and is the first in Cambria County and second in a seven county region. 2005 Cassandra Boro's (ISO) fire rating is a 5 MORE TO COME ! |
